Anonymous: Thank you for your response! Would you mind if I ask you about what are Ma vie en l’air, Innocence and Fair Play and which one is the best?

yw :)

Ma vie en l’air is a romantic comedy (ik) and it’s the first one/only one Marion has done so far. It’s really adorable. I have only watched it once and I should rewatch it soon but Marion is the love interest of the main character and she’s blonde in it and I think anyone who’s in a crappy mood should watch it to feel better.

Innocence is like Never Let Me Go mixed with Cracks. It’s this all girls boarding school with ~mysterious circumstances~ and deals with girls growing up and the questions that come with it. Marion plays one of two teachers we see at the school and she’s a ballet instructor tooooo.

Fair Play is this dark look at workplace interactions where all challenges you’d face in the work field are done in athletic environments. It’s third act is very intense and deals with white water rafting and it’s just an interesting, “out of water” concept for a film that I really enjoyed.

Also I forgot Toi et moi which is ~romantic drama~ and Marion plays this really cute cellist who’s timid and adorable so A+ reviews from me, right??

I’d go with Innocence > Ma vie en l’air > Toi et Moi > Fair Play :)

Anonymous: You are the biggest Marion stan out there so lemme ask you one important question. I just started my journey with French cinema. I have seen Jeux d'enfants, Rust and Bone and A Very Long Engagement and all of them were superb, one of the reason was of course Marion's brillant performances! Now, there goes my question: what other french movies with Marion could you recommend?

LA VIE EN ROSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also Ma vie en l’air, Innocence, Little White Lies, Fair Play, and the Taxi series (although I have yet to find the 3 one with subtitles).

This is a little odd of a post, but, I know there are some caring people out there that lurk my page and/or I’ve talked to and am friends with. My birthday is coming up and I wanted to take this moment to say if you want to do anything to ~celebrate~ my birthday as an actual monetary present, I have several friends with different resources trying to earn some extra money and you could support. Just get something you might really like and don’t tell me what you got because it’s for you but it would mean a great deal to me

goodbye.

do you want to hear the biggest fucking cliche ever?

icameouttomydad before he went into surgery in case he never wakes up by typing it into a text for him to read

so

there is that.

ALSO MY PHONE JUST DIED SO LIKE

i literally might rip off my face in a moment

update on me, because i need to be upfront.

sigh.

okay, so, i usually don’t like to talk about really personal matters on here but i need to be open because i’m in so much strain right now.

my dad, who is everything to me, is very sick. basically, he twisted his colon awhile ago and had a lot of gas and liquids stored inside him. two weeks ago we took him to the hospital for a few days and he was miserable, but he seemed to get better. but he went back on thursday afternoon and it’s gotten worse.

basically, he has a lot of stuff inside of his stomach that is making it hard for him to breathe and his heart rate is ridiculously high. a part of his bowels is dead and they need to get it out for him to get better. normally they would wait for his stomach to decrease in size… but it hasn’t.

he has a serious infection with a high fever. they want to do what’s best for him but if they have surgery soon, there’s a high chance he won’t make it. otherwise he’s healthy as a horse~ but.

i just don’t want my dad to die.

i’m terrified he will. he will tonight. that it’ll be tonight.

and i’m personally miserable right now.

he’s conscience but oh my god i just am sobbing.

just if you believe in a higher being, please pray and think of my father because my life will be destroyed if he dies tonight.

thanks.
